Norfolk

Norfolk is a waterfront city in southeastern Virginia, located at the confluence of the Elizabeth River and Chesapeake Bay. It’s home to Naval Station Norfolk, a massive naval base on Chesapeake Bay. Nauticus is a maritime museum that features the Battleship Wisconsin, a huge WWII warship.

Bacton

From Bacton, a coastal village in north Norfolk, with excellent clifftop walks and stunning coastal scenery. The beach and the surrounding coastline have an extensive seawall to prevent erosion. It is a good place to spot a seal or two. Grey seals and pups are commonly sighted along this stretch of coast.
