Beautiful Wellington City and Harbour seen at dusk from the surrounding hills.
Wellington, the capital of New Zealand, sits near the North Island’s southernmost point on the Cook Strait. A compact city, it encompasses a waterfront promenade, sandy beaches, a working harbour and colourful timber houses on surrounding hills.

Thanks a lot Rachel!

View from Kelburn, of the Wellington Cable Car with Wellington city in the background. The Cable Car, introduced in 1902 goes from Lambton Quay in the city centre, 600 metres up a 1 in 5 gradient to the terminal at Kelburn. The Skyline Restaurant, the Botanical Gardens and some excellent views of Wellington are available from here. North Island, New Zealand

Thanks for this great card Rachel!
