Bronze Chariot
October 27, 2011
I received this card from a university student from Hong Kong who visited Xi'an in China during the summer. This card shows the Bronze Chariot No.2. Two large scale-models of bronze chariots and horses were unearthed in 1980, about 20m (65.6 ft) east of the mausoleum of Emperor Qin Shi Huang. These were encased in the large wooden coffins for over two thousand years without any corrosion. Today the chariot is stored at the "Museum of the Terracotta Warriors and Horses of Qin Shi Huang"
