My first card from Greece! The card shows one of the gems of Greece: Metéora (Suspended in the air). Located near the towns of Kalampaka and Kastraki in northwestern Thessaly in central Greece, it consists of a number of rock pinnacles topped with a total of 24 monasteries.
The Metéora is one of the largest and most important complexes of Eastern Orthodox monasteries in Greece and is included on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
