My first card from Lithuania. The card shows a view of the capital city Vilnius and a monument for the Great Duke Gediminas. Besides being the founder of Vilnius and Trakai, Gediminas was also one of the most famous rulers of Lithuania. The monument can be found on Cathedral Square, the main square of the city's downtown, right in front of the neo-classical Vilnius Cathedral.
