A card from Vyborg, a town in Leningrad Oblast, Russia! The card shows the Round Tower from the mid-16th century. The tower was located in 20m from the fortress wall which defended Vyborg from the outside Novgorod road. The tower protected Skotogonnuye Gate. It was used as mill warehouse, arsenal, debtor's prison in peaceful times. It currently houses a Russian restaurant, Kruglaya Bashnya.
