Roman Baths
July 10, 2017
While in the UK I went to Bath for a day and bought this postcard after visiting the stunning Roman Baths. The city of Bath was added to the Unesco World Heritage list because of its Roman Remains, 18th Century Architecture, 18th Century Town Planning, Social Setting, Hot Springs and Landscape Setting.
Back of the postcard:
The Baths were built by the Romans in the 1st century AD, which they dedicated to their own goddess of healing, Minerva, and to the Celtic goddess Sulis.
