From Zamosc, a picturesque Renaissance town in the Lublin voivodship, in southeastern Poland. In 1992 it was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Old City of Zamość is an outstanding example of a late 16th-century Central European town designed and built in accordance with Italian Renaissance theories on the creation of “ideal” cities.The card shows the Great Market Square and its town hall, the Jan Zamoyski Monument and the Zamosc Fortress.
