The Wudang Mountains consist of a small mountain range in the northwestern part of Hubei, China, just south of Shiyan. Wudang Mountain may be the most famous Taoist holy site in China as well as in the world. The Ancient Building Complex in the Wudang Mountains has been on the World Heritage List since 1994 as a unique land to spread Chinese Taoist culture.
