Hagenbeck Zoo houses 210 different animal species from all over the world, a tropical aquarium and the new Arctic themed Eismeer section. Over the years, the zoo has gained a good reputation for successfully breeding rare and endangered species such as the Asian elephant and the Siberian tiger. They have a herd of 9 Asian elephants with Santosh and Raj the 2 youngest ones born in 2018.
