Northern Lights over Portage Lake & Chugach Mountains.
Portage Lake is a glacial lake in the Chugach National Forest of Alaska. It sits in a long, heavily glaciated valley, and abuts the calving face of Portage Glacier at its southern end. The Chugach Mountains are the northernmost of several ranges that make up the Alaska Coastal Range system. The mountains span approximately 250 miles east to west and 100 miles north to south.
Thanks a lot Lynda!
