Famed for its crescent-shaped beach, Copacabana is one of Rio’s liveliest neighborhoods, drawing a cross-section of locals and visitors to round-the-clock activity along its sands and mosaic-tiled promenade. Copacabana is located in the South Zone of the city of Rio de Janeiro. Its balneario beach is 4 km long and is one of the most famous in the world.
