Schloss Ludwigsburg
June 30, 2021
Ludwigsburg Palace, nicknamed the Versailles of Swabia, is a 452-room palace complex of 18 buildings with a total area, including the gardens, of 32 ha. It's the largest palatial estate in the country and one of the few Baroque buildings to have survived the tumultuous history of the last centuries almost unscathed. This truly palatial complex stands out not just for its impressive size, but also for its sumptuous interiors. Another feature is the unique blend of three quite different architectural styles: Baroque, Rococo and Neoclassicism.
