July 06, 2021
Two African elephants from Indianapolis Zoo! The Indianapolis Zoo is well-known throughout the world for its cutting-edge elephant reproduction research. The first and second African elephants in the world to be conceived and successfully born through artificial insemination were at the Zoo. There are currently 5 African elephants in the Zoo: Kedar the only male in the herd, Ivory, Kubwa, Tombi and Zahara, the youngest.
Thanks so much Diane!
