Lake Wolfgang is a lake in Austria that lies mostly within the state of Salzburg and is one of the best known lakes in the Salzkammergut resort region. Strobl is one of the municipalities on its shore. Walking along the promenade at the side of the lake gives you a panoramic view of the whole lake. Linked to St. Wolfgang by a walking/cycle track you have a chance to take in spectacular views of the lake and the surrounding mountains. Strobl has an attractive church where Prince Tassilo von Fürstenberg is buried.
