Świnoujście is a port city occupying a group of islands in northwest Poland. It’s home to Prussian fortifications and the Museum of Sea Fishery, with model vessels and sea creatures. The 19th-century Lighthouse has an observation deck with views of the harbor and the Baltic Sea. Świnoujście is situated in the Land of 44 Islands. It is the only place in Poland of such exceptional insular character. The Land consists of several dozens of islands and islets of which three are inhabited.
