Plaza Tapatía

Plaza Tapatía is an urban plaza in Guadalajara with the Inmolación de Quetzalcóatl, a fountain and sculpture by Victor Manuel Contreras. Inaugurated in 1982, the sculpture features twisted, flame-like shapes rising from the water and into the sky. It is 25 metres tall. The square covers an area of 70.000 square meters and is surrounded by various shops, restaurants, and cafes.
