Plaza Tapatía

Plaza Tapatía is an urban plaza in Guadalajara with the Inmolación de Quetzalcóatl, a fountain and sculpture by Victor Manuel Contreras. Inaugurated in 1982, the sculpture features twisted, flame-like shapes rising from the water and into the sky. It is 25 metres tall. The square covers an area of ​​70.000 square meters and is surrounded by various shops, restaurants, and cafes.
