The Church of Peter and Paul is located in Petrovsky Park, in the south-western district of Yaroslavl. The church is a stylized copy of the Peter and Paul Cathedral, the symbol of St. Petersburg. The Church of Peter and Paul was built in 1736 by merchant Ivan Zatapeznov, who was an admirer of Tsar Peter I. The has two levels and its spire reaches 57 meters in height.
