Picton, Marlborough, South Island, New Zealand.
Sitting near the head of the Queen Charlotte Sound, Picton is a popular seaside destination and 'launch pad' for some of the many bays and coves of the Marlborough Sounds, many of which are only accessible by boat. Picton is also the South Island port for the ferries which link the North and South Islands.
