The Royal Palace of Turin is a historic palace of the House of Savoy in the city of Turin in Northern Italy. 
In 1946, the building became the property of the state and was turned into a museum. In 1997, it was placed on the UNESCO World Heritage Site listalong with 13 other residences of the House of Savoy.  Today it houses the Royal Museums, with an extensive art collection, armory, and gardens.
