From the Cocos (Keeling) Islands, taken from tower at Point of Direction Island.

The Cocos (Keeling) Islands are an Australian external territory in the Indian Ocean, comprising a small archipelago approximately midway between Australia and Sri Lanka. The territory consists of two atolls made up of 27 coral islands, of which only two are inhabited. The population of around 600 people consists mainly of Cocos Malays, who mostly practice Sunni Islam and speak a dialect of Malay as their first language. Direction Island is the northeasternmost of the South Keeling Islands. It is home to a world famous rip, where you can spot amazing marine life of vivid fish, corals, reef sharkers, huge wrasse and parrot fish.

Thanks so much Katherine!
