Lorentz National Park is located in Indonesia’s Papua Province, along the Pegunungan Mandala range, whose Puncak Cartenz is the highest peak in Southeast Asia. The property covers an area of 2.35 million hectares, making it the largest conservation area in Southeast Asia. In 1999 Lorentz was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
