The historic steamboat Belle of Louisville and her wharfboat, Life-Saving Station #10, are part of the Louisville waterfront during Thunder Over Louisville, one of the largest fireworks events in the country.
The 85-acre park adjacent to downtown Louisville and the Ohio River features a park, playground, and access to the Big Four Bridge. It hosts live entertainment and festivals .Once a wasteland of scrap yards and abandoned industrial buildings, Waterfront Park is now a vibrant green space that welcomes over 2.2 million visitors each year.
