Leshten is a mountainous village situated on the southern slopes of Western Rhodope Mountain at an altitude of 900 meters. The village attracts tourists with its authentic old houses, preserved since the Bulgarian Revival. Many of them offer accommodation and you can stay and feel the real authentic atmosphere of this beautiful village. 15 houses in the village were recently reconstructed evoking the spirit of the past. One of the most known buildings in the village of Leshten is the Clay House. Although it is a relatively new house, unlike the other 200-years old buildings, this is the most visited landmark in the village.
