St. Gallen Cathedral

St. Gallen Cathedral is a Roman Catholic church in the city of St. Gallen. It is considered one of the last great sacred structures of the Baroque era, and is part of The Abbey of St Gall, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Convent of St Gall is  a perfect example of a great Carolingian monastery. The cathedral and the library, one of the richest and oldest in the world, are the main features of this remarkable architectural complex, reflecting 12 centuries of continuous activity.
