The Yeni Kale Lighthouse is an active lighthouse on Cape Fonar near Yeni-Kale fortress in eastern Crimea on the shore of Kerch Strait. The lighthouse was built in 1820 to ensure the safe passage of ships from the Sea of Azov to the Black Sea through the Kerch Strait.
