Bolzano is a city in the South Tyrol province of north Italy, set in a valley amid hilly vineyards. It's a gateway to the Dolomites mountain range in the Italian Alps. Surrounded by mountains and built in a natural basin, Bolzano is a charming city with a blend of German and Mediterranean traditions, traditions that are also visible in its architecture.
