Nestled in the southwestern region of Burkina Faso, the Sindou Peaks are an eroded sandstone formation rising 415 m above sea level, making them the second highest point in Burkina Faso. These peaks are one of the most popular tourist attractions in the country. The diversity of habitats within their area makes them important for the region's biodiversity.
