Zoom Erlebniswelt in Gelsenkirchen is the remodeled former Ruhr Zoo. Spanning more than 30 hectares, the Alaska, Africa, and Asia adventure worlds offer around 900 animals of over 100 species a home modeled on their natural habitat. Rivers, lake landscapes, expansive wetlands and grassy savannas, jungles, and rocky massifs create an Alaskan, African, and Asian feel.
