Gornji Milanovac

Gornji Milanovac is a town located in the central part of Serbia, on the border between the southwestern part of Šumadija, Gruž and Western Serbia. It is known for its charming architecture, traditional Serbian cuisine, and warm hospitality. In the very center of Gornji Milanovac rises the church of the Holy Trinity, one of the main landmarks of the city. The church is located on hilly ground and in the middle of one of the main crossroads. The church has a simple and harmonious appearance, enriched with elements of Romanesque-Byzantine architectural style.

The town is surrounded by beautiful nature, with opportunities for hiking and outdoor exploration. Rudnik, the highest mountain in Šumadija is located about 15 kilometers away from Gornji Milanovac and is one of the perfect picnic areas, which has beautiful trails, lush forest vegetation and lookouts.
