Northern Lights

June 20, 2025

The Northern Lights, or Aurora Borealis, are a spectacular natural phenomenon frequently visible in Lapland, Finland. While they occur year-round, the best time to view them in Lapland is during the dark winter months, from late August to early April, with peak viewing between September and March. During this period, the long, dark nights provide optimal viewing conditions, especially when combined with clear skies.
