Mornington Peninsula

August 01, 2025

The Mornington Peninsula lies to the southeast of Melbourne, bordered by Port Philip, Western Port and the Bass Strait. Its mainly rural area encompasses the indigenous ecology of the Mornington Peninsula National Park as well as numerous small towns and villages. Scenic beauty, beaches both open-sea and sheltered, charming fishing villages, historic towns, vineyards, orchards and magnificent views are on offer in this ideal holiday location, along with the good life in dining and entertainment. The highest peak on the peninsula is Arthurs Seat. It rises to over 300 metres and provides panoramic views from various lookouts.
