Salzburg Zoo, also referred to as Tiergarten Hellbrunn, is a zoo in Salzburg. It is 14 hectares in size, and has 1500 animals from 150 species. Among them many are native to Austria, such as the apex the chamois and the brown bear but there are also many exotic animals, for example lions, monkeys, flamingos and penguins.
