The Champagne Pool is the crown jewel and most famous attraction of Wai-O-Tapu Thermal Wonderland near Rotorua, New Zealand. Formed 900 years ago by a hydrothermal eruption, this massive terrestrial hot spring spans roughly 65 meters in diameter and plunges to a depth of 62 meters.
