Tucked behind Huntington Bay, it serves as a massive recreational boating hub featuring 14 marinas, hundreds of moorings, and an active community of commercial fishermen and yacht clubs. It is roughly 40 miles east of New York City and sits right on Long Island's famous Gold Coast.
