S'Alguer

S'Alguer is a small cove about 60 metres long, 2.9 kilometres from the centre of Palamós. It is made up mainly of coarse sand and pebbles, set in beautiful natural surroundings. Its rich landscape heritage includes a unique group of fishermen's houses that have been declared a Cultural Asset of National Interest. Palamós is a historic coastal town on Spain's Costa Brava famous worldwide for its gourmet Palamós red prawns and its deeply preserved maritime and fishing culture. It's one of the most important fishing ports in the region.
