
Port Dover is a picturesque resort town located on the north shore of Lake Erie in Norfolk County, Ontario. Best known for its unique tropical-style sandy beach with real palm trees, rich maritime history, and fresh lake perch, this charming town has a population of roughly 7,800 residents. It is located approximately a 1-hour drive south of Hamilton and about 2.5 hours from Toronto. The Port Dover Lighthouse sits at the very end of the West Pier and is one of Ontario’s oldest pre-confederation harbor designs.
