Przemyśl is one of the oldest and most historically significant cities in southeastern Poland. Situated on the San River just 10–14 kilometers from the Ukrainian border, it is often referred to as "Little Lviv" due to its stunning architectural, cultural, and ecclesiastical similarities to the nearby Ukrainian city. Built across seven scenic hills in the Subcarpathian Voivodeship, it boasts a population of around 56,000 residents and functions as a gateway between Central and Eastern Europe. Przemyśl Old Town, a beautifully preserved historic district, is centered around a sloping Market Square. It is characterized by charming, narrow pastel streets, historic townhouses, and an underground tourist route. The Cathedral Basilica is a striking landmark combining Gothic and Baroque elements. Its separate 71-meter-high clock tower dominates the skyline and serves as an incredible viewpoint.
