Nestled in the southwestern region of Burkina Faso, the Sindou Peaks are an eroded sandstone formation rising 415 m above sea level, making them the second highest point in Burkina Faso. These peaks are one of the most popular tourist attractions in the country. The diversity of habitats within their area makes them important for the region's biodiversity.

Ouagadougou Cathedral is one of the largest cathedrals in the western or southern African countries. It took two years to complete this cathedral that has a Romanesque Basilica Style of Architecture, you’d mistake it for a European building except for its beautiful earthen color which gives it an African Feel as its exterior was constructed using red mud bricks. It also has a stone arch carve of the Virgin Mary. This church with no spire and steeples of different height has been standing since the 1930s and is a unique landmark of Burkina Faso.
