Chișinău City Hall

Chișinău City Hall is a historical and architectural monument built in Italian Gothic style located in Central Chișinău. The building has a quad-shaped plan with arched windows on elegant façade, ornately crowned by triangular pediments. The walls, draped in a faint shade of beige and white, are marvelously complemented by an elegant clock tower at the top.

Chișinău

From Chișină, ualso known as Kishinev, the capital and largest city of the Republic of Moldova. The city is Moldova's main industrial and commercial center, and is located in the middle of the country, on the river Bâc. Amid blocks of Soviet-style architecture are landmarks including the neoclassical Nativity Cathedral. The dome-topped church anchors Chișinău's Cathedral Park, a plaza with a Triumphal Arch celebrating Russia's 19th-century victory over the Ottoman Empire. Stephen the Great Central Park is named for a Moldovan prince who resisted Ottoman rule.
