Georgia Aquarium

Georgia Aquarium is a public aquarium in Atlanta. The aquarium's animals are displayed in seven galleries and exhibits: Tropical Diver, Ocean Voyager, Explorers Cove, Cold Water Quest, Southern Company River Scout, Dolphin Coast, Truist Pier 225 and Aquanaut Adventure, a Discovery Zone. Each exhibit corresponds to a specific environment. The aquarium's notable specimens include whale sharks, beluga whales, California sea lions, bottlenose dolphins, manta rays, sea otters, and tiger sharks. Its centerpiece is a 6.3 million US gallons whale shark exhibit. At the Georgia Aquarium, you can experience common bottlenose dolphins through a massive viewing gallery, a high-energy theater presentation, and an exclusive hands-on interaction program. The aquarium currently houses a pod of 12 bottlenose dolphins at the Dolphin Coast exhibit.

Nuremberg Zoo

The dolphin lagoon in Nuremberg Zoo where dolphins swim together with sea lions under the open sky. They currently have 6 dolphins and 7 sea lions. With an area of ​​65 hectares, it is one of the largest zoos in Europe and the second largest zoo in Germany. Since 2018, the Nuremberg Zoo has only been home to female bottlenose dolphins. The facility is no longer participating in captive breeding.

Kinosaki Marine World

Kinosaki Marine World is located on the scenic Hiyoriyama Coast in Hyogo Prefecture. It is located in Sanin Kaigan National Park. Marine World boasts several attractions, including with a museum describing the history and geology of the nearby coast. There are several dolphin & sea lions shows daily, penguin marches, backstage tours, and a tide pool where you can touch and feel sea stars.

Särkänniemi

Särkänniemi is an amusement park in Tampere, located in the district by the same name. The park features an aquarium, a planetarium, Doghill Fairytale Farm, an art museum and an observation tower Näsinneula. The Aquarium was opened in 1969. It has a total combined aquarium volume of 550,000 litres  and is home to more than 3,000 animals representing 200 species. The park gave up the dolphinarium in 2016 and the dolphins were safely transported to Attica Zoological Park in Greece.

Zoo Duisburg

Duisburg Zoo, founded on 12 May 1934, is one of the largest zoological gardens in Germany. It is especially well known for its dolphinarium and, since 1994, for breeding koalas. The Dolphinarium is inhabited by 7 bottle-nosed dolphins : Ivo (M), Pepina (F), Delphi (F), Daisy (F), Debbie (F) and Dobbie (M) and Dora (F). My main reason to visit this zoo, IVO! He lived in Antwerp Zoo for several years before moving to Duisburg Zoo in 1999. Ivo is the highest ranking animal in the dolphinarium. He is also a very affectionate and caring father who loves playing. He's the reason of my love for dolphins since I was a kid. It nice to meet his family and his son Dobbie, born in 2016. Thanks for the warm welcome and the shower Ivo!

Anapa Dolphinarium

The Anapa Dolphinarium, opened in 1992 in the village of Bolshoi Utrish, is a unique place where visitors can enjoy shows with marine animals right in the open air. Located in a sea lagoon, the dolphinarium immerses guests in the atmosphere of a natural environment, thanks to flowing sea water surrounding the animal enclosures. This unique place features various species of marine life, such as Black Sea bottlenose dolphins, beluga whales, northern fur seals, Patagonian sea lions and others.

National Aquarium

The many species of dolphins, like the Atlantic bottlenose dolphin seen at the National Aquarium in Baltimore are actually small toothed whales. Best known of the dolphin species, the bottlenose has recieved much attention on its exploits and intelligence. The total length of a bottlenose dolphin can measure up to twelve feet, with an average weight between 500 and 1,200 pounds. It can swim up to speeds of 14 knots and dive for more than 6 to 7 minutes, where it feeds on a variety of fishes, squid, shrimps and crabs.

The aquarium has more than 17,000 specimens representing over 750 species and is the largest tourism attraction in the State of Maryland.T he National Aquarium houses several exhibits including the Upland Tropical Rain Forest, a multiple-story Atlantic Coral Reef, an open-ocean shark tank, and Australia: Wild Extremes, which won the Best Exhibit award from the Association of Zoos and Aquariums in 2008. The aquarium opened a marine mammal pavilion in 1990, and currently holds six Atlantic bottlenose dolphins. Of the six, five were born at the National Aquarium, one was born at another American aquarium.

From Croatia

Dolphins from Croatia !They're found in many parts of the Adriatic, but the best place to see dolphins in Croatia is in the area surrounding the islands of Cres and Losinj, and slightly further north around the Istrian resort of Porec. In the Losinj archipelago the population of some 200 dolphins is observed and tracked by the Blue World Institute.

Marineland Antibes

The Marineland of Antibes is a theme park founded in 1970. As of April 2020, Marineland housed a total of 12 bottlenose dolphins. The names of the dolphins are: Malou (F), Sharky (F), Rocky (M), Dam (M), Neo (M), Nala (F), Tux (M), Ania (F), Jo (F), Kai (M), Luà (F), and Ollie (F).

Chinese White Dolphin

The Chinese white dolphin was first recorded in local waters as early as the 1600s. The dolphins’ habitat spans the Pearl River Estuary, and is closely associated with the estuarine mixing zone between the river and the ocean. On the western coast of the Pearl River Estuary, within Hong Kong waters, the dolphins prefer to stay close to the shore. In particular, they are known to be in North Lantau waters near Castle Peak, Lung Kwu Chau and Sha Chau Marine Park, Chek Lap Kok and Tai O.

Coffs Harbour

Beautiful dolphins from Coffs Harbour, home to the Dolphin Marine Conservation Park. Coffs Harbour is located on the north coast of New South Wales, Australia. It’s known for its beaches and the Big Banana monument and amusement park. In the waters off Coffs Harbour Marina is the Solitary Islands Marine Park, home to abundant wildlife, seasonal whales and coral reefs.
