From Geneva

May 11, 2022

An aerial view of La Rade and the Jet d'Eau in Geneva. Since 1891, a gigantic jet of water has been Geneva’s most important landmark. This narrow column of water shooting straight up to a staggering height of 140 meters is one of the most recognizable part of Geneva’s skyline.

Palais des Nations

March 02, 2022

Built between 1929 and 1936 and located at the heart of the Parc de l'Ariana, the Palais des Nations houses the European headquarters of the United Nations, and is the largest UN centre after New York. More than 25,000 delegates pass through the centre each year, and many works of art are on display there. The building has a total width of 600 meters and has 34 conference rooms and approximately 2,800 office spaces.

Many thanks Felice!

Geneva

April 05, 2014

When I visited Geneva for the Davis Cup I couldn't go home without buying a postcard. I chose this beautiful sunset postcard from Geneva harbour, known as 'La Rade' and its famous water jet.
