Columbia River Gorge

August 13, 2021

This scene from Crown Point shows the extensive beauty of this great river. It's the scenic water gateway from the Inland Empire to eastern Washington, Oregon and Idaho to the populated areas of western Oregon and southwestern Washington.

The Columbia River Gorge is a canyon of the Columbia River in the Pacific Northwest of the United States. Up to 4,000 feet deep, the canyon stretches for over eighty miles as the river winds westward through the Cascade Range, forming the boundary between the state of Washington to the north and Oregon to the south. The Columbia River Gorge is the largest national scenic area in the United States and has the greatest concentration of waterfalls in North America.

Thanks a lot Diana!
