The Singapore Botanic Gardens has played an important role in fostering agricultural development in Singapore and the region since 1859 and is inscribed as UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2015. The leading equatorial botanic garden of 74 hectares is the world's most visited botanic gardens. Explore the gardens through its 3 main cores - Tanglin heritage care for the old rustic charm of the historic Gardens, Central which is the tourist belt, and make new discoveries of the flora and fauna varieties in the Bukit Timah Core.

The Singapore Botanic Gardens is situated at the heart of the city of Singapore and demonstrates the evolution of a British tropical colonial botanic garden from a ‘Pleasure Garden’ in the English Landscape Style, to a colonial Economic Garden with facilities for horticultural and botanical research, to a modern and world-class botanic garden, scientific institution and place of conservation, recreation and education.
