The Calleja de las Flores is one of the most popular and tourist streets of the city of Córdoba. It is a narrow passageway with archs and stones that ends in a square where you find a series of flowerpots with geranium and carnations. From the Calleja de las Flores you have one of the most romantic general views of the Mosque-Catedral. It represents a unique artistic achievement due to its size and the sheer boldness of the height of its ceilings. It is an irreplaceable testimony of the Caliphate of Cordoba and it is the most emblematic monument of Islamic religious architecture.
