The Kentucky Warbler is one of 208 species present at Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park. The location of Kennesaw Mountain NBP at the southern end of the Appalachian Mountains and forest area make it an attractive habitat for birds, especially during the sprin and fall migrations. Many bird watching groups come to Kennesaw Mountain during these migration periods.

Kennesaw Mountain Battlefield is a 2,965-acre National Battlefield that preserves a Civil War battleground of the Atlanta Campaign. The battle was fought here from June 19, 1864, until July 2, 1864. More than 67,000 soldiers were killed, wounded and captured during the Campaign. The visitor center provides information about the battle. While walking the 17.3 miles of trails, you will see historic earthworks, cannon emplacements and various interpretive signs.
