Richmond is a charming town about 24 km northeast of Hobart in the Coal River Valley wine region. Richmond is rich in history and architecture, with more than 50 historic buildings, mostly from the 1820s. The most well known and photographed landmark in Richmond is Richmond bridge, the oldest bridge in Australia that’s still in use.
