May 07, 2026

Parliament House is the seat of Australia's federal government, located on Capital Hill in Canberra. Opened in 1988, the building is an architectural landmark known for its unique design that is partially built into the hill, allowing visitors to walk across its grassy roof. One of the largest buildings in the Southern Hemisphere, it contains roughly 4,500 rooms and houses the Senate, House of Representatives, and offices for the Prime Minister and Cabinet.
